Updates for the Week of July 13, 2026

iOS Updates

Version 7.2.1 adds message translation and fixes an issue that prevented some players from using Coins to Hype others.

To turn on message translation:

1. Open your Profile.
2. Tap the gear icon.
3. Select Languages.
4. Turn on message translation.
5. Tap Downloaded Languages and download the languages you want to use.

Once enabled, press and hold a message to see the Translate option. This option will appear when Plato can translate the message into your selected language(s).

Translation uses the built-in translation tools available on iOS 18 and newer. Some translations may not be completely accurate, and we will continue improving the experience in future updates.

Android Updates

The new Plato Shop is now available on Android starting with version 7.2.0.

Updates for Everyone

You can now sort items in each Shop category alphabetically from A to Z or by price from low to high.

Players must now make at least one purchase before they can send gifts. Players who have not made a purchase can still receive gifts.

We are also limiting the number of devices that can remain actively logged in to the same account. This change is intended to reduce problems caused by using an account on too many devices at once.

Coming Next

We are aware that some Android players are experiencing performance issues. We are working to address as many of these problems as possible in version 7.2.1, which is planned for next week.

NEW FEATURE: Improved Monster Selection

Choosing your team just got a whole lot easier!

We've updated the Monster Selection screen with several quality-of-life improvements to make building your team faster and more intuitive.

🔄 Exchange Monsters

Want to replace one of your selected monsters?

Simply tap the selected monster, then tap another monster of the same element to instantly swap them. No more confusing greyed-out monsters!

↔️ Swap Positions

Need to change your team order?

Tap the Swap button to instantly switch the positions of your two selected monsters.

❌ Clear Selection

Starting over is now just one tap away.

Tap the Clear button to remove both selected monsters and build your team from scratch.

🔒 Locked Monster

Purchasable monsters now appear with a locked hexagon overlay, making them easier to discover while browsing your collection.
